3′-O-Methylfluorescein

Used in fluorimetric studies. Fluorescent probe. Selective fluorometric substrate for CYP2C19 and CYP1A1. Reaction product of the substrate 3-O-methylfluorescein phosphate (OMFP) is hydrolyzed by phosphatases to yield O-methylfluorescein (OMF) that is detected at a 485nm excitation/525nm emission.
