SmallMolecules.com does not require site users to register. Non-registered users may access all information presented on SmallMolecules.com except for product pricing.  Registration allows users to access product pricing from the Suppliers listed on the site. The personal information shared with SmallMolecules.com can be used to help tailor the content we provide on SmallMolecules.com.  Additionally, SmallMolecules.com may on occasion notify registered users regarding promotions, special offers, updated information, and special features.

When you register for the site we request certain personally identifiable information from you on the registration form. During registration you are required to give contact information (such as name and e-mail address). We may use this information to contact you about the products or services on SmallMolecules.com.

We store and process your personal data at our registered offices at 118-1537 Hillside Ave, Victoria, BC, Canada, V8T 2C1, or our marketing agency which is also in Canada.

How we keep your personal data secure

SmallMolecules.com takes the protection of your personal data very seriously and we take appropriate steps to ensure your personal data is stored in a secure environment to prevent any unauthorised access. SmallMolecules.com may use external data service providers to process personal data on our behalf. When we do so we have appropriate agreements in place to protect the data. Any data transfers between external service providers and ourselves are conducted by secure means.

How long we store your personal data for

We keep anonymous web analytics data for an unlimited period of time for the purpose of evaluating the website performance year-to-year over a span of many years. Since this data is anonymized by Google we are unable to assist with requests for retrieval of data associated with a particular user.

We routinely update our email newsletter lists to ensure those who are not engaged are removed.
