5-Aminofluorescein
The uronic acid residues of all known glycosaminoglycuronans react wit 5-aminofluorescein to yield fluorescent derivatives, which show fluorescence characteristics identical to those of 5-acetamidofluorescein (CDX-A0089). 5-aminofluorescein is also used to prepare FITC Isomer I (CDX-F0011, CDX-F0020).
