Probenazole
Benzothiazole fungicide with weak antibacterial activity. Active ingredient in Oryzemate, an agricultural chemical that has been widely used to protect rice plants from rice blast and the bacterial blight pathogen. Induces non-race specific resistance in rice plants against rice blast fungus. Defense activator that stimulates the SA/NPR1-mediated defense signaling pathway upstream of salicylic acid (SA).
