Choline fungicide that inhibits spore germination of fungal spores by preventing the formation of appressoria that are necessary for infection of host plants. Possible secondary mode of action is stimulating the expression of host defence genes. Controls powdery mildew on cereals and grapevines. Compound can be used as analytical reference material.
