N-Desmethylthiamethoxam
Neonicotinoid insecticide. Interacts with insect nicotinic acetylcholine receptors (nAChRs), but is about 25 times less potent than thiamethoxam as an insecticide. Shown to be almost as active as the insecticide imidacloprid. Can be used as a reference compound.
