Diacylglycerol acyltransferase (DGAT) inhibitor. Excessive accumulation of triacetylglycerol produced by DGAT may cause fatty liver, obesity and hypertriglyceridemia, which may lead to atherosclerosis, diabetes and metabolic disorders.
