This is amidated Spexin-2 (53-70) peptide showing similar biological function as that of its non- amidated version as a central modulator of cardiovascular and renal function. Spexin-2 is a novel peptide hormone that is derived from prohormone proNPQ and is conserved amongst mammalian species.
