α-CGRP(human)
α-CGRP(human) (Calcitonin gene-related peptide) is a regulatory neuropeptide of 37 amino acids, widely distributed in the central and peripheral nervous system, predominantly in cell bodies of the dorsal root ganglion (DRG) with potent vasodilatory, inotropic, and chronotropic effects. It is a reversible antagonist of the haemodynamic effects of human α-CGRF, and may holds potential as a therapeutic agent for treating cardiac diseases.
