L-Asparaginase
L-Asparaginase(L-ASNase) is a deamidating enzyme that hydrolyzes L-asparagine and L-glutamine, depleting L-asparagine in the blood and bone marrow. It exhibits anti-leukemic effects by inhibiting RNA and DNA synthesis, leading to blastic cell apoptosis, and is used in acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) research and treatment.
