Taurocholic acid
Taurocholic acid (N-Choloyltaurine), a taurine-conjugated form of cholic acid, is a major bile acid elevated in liver disease. It promotes by activating hepatic stellate cells via TLR4 upregulation and exhibits anti-inflammatory effects in gingival fibroblasts, oral squamous carcinoma cells, and macrophages in vitro.
