It acts as a carcinogen and mutagen among 3 human diploid lymphoblast lines, MIT-2, WI-L2, and GM 130.The product is a solid-liquid mixture.1-Methyl-3-nitro-1-nitrosoguanidine can be used to induce animal models of Gastric Carcinoma.
