S-Nitroso-N-acetyl-DL-penicillamine
S-Nitroso-N-acetyl-DL-penicillamine (SNAP) is a nitric oxide donor and acts as a stable inhibitor of platelet aggregation and inducer of disaggregation. It inhibits fibrinogen binding to platelets and also decreases the release of P-selectin from platelets.
