Zimelidine dihydrochloride
Zimelidine dihydrochloride is a 5-HT reuptake inhibitor with selectivity over noradrenalin and dopamine uptake (IC50 = 0.33, 8.2 and 12 μM, respectively). Zimelidine modulates nociception and induces hyperglycemia in vivo, and is used as an orally active antidepressant.
