The product is 50wt. % solution of hypophosphorous acid-d3 in D2O, having an isotopic purity of 98atom%. It can be obtained by proton-deuterium-exchange reaction in D2O. Deuterated hypophosphorous acid can be employed in neutron diffraction studies.
