Streptomycin
Streptomycin (Agrept, Agrimycin, Streptomycin A) is an aminoglycoside antibiotic isolated from Streptomyces griseus and used in tuberculosis (TB) research due to its activity against Mycobacterium tuberculosis. It is also a bactericidal agent useful for studying various bacterial infections.
