Synthesis of 4-(2-Chloroacetamido)benzoic acid has been reported. It is reported as key intermediate in the synthesis of series of Matijing-Su (MTS, N-(N-benzoyl-L-phenylalanyl)-O-acetyl-L-phenylalanol) derivatives.
