Nitrotetrazolium Blue chloride
Nitrotetrazolium Blue chloride (Nitro blue tetrazolium chloride, NBT) is a chromogenic substrate used for detecting oxygen metabolites in cells, staining histological tissue sections, and labeling probe-target interactions. Nitrotetrazolium blue chloride is paired with 5-bromo-4-chloro-3-inolyl phosphate (PCIB) to detect alkaline phosphatase activity.
