Geniposide is an iridoid glycoside isolated from the fruit of Gardenia jasminoides Ellis. Geniposide is widely used in multi-component injection in the treatment of cerebrovascular and cardiovascular diseases in China for its anti-thrombotic and anti-inflammatory effects.
