cis-Hinkiresinol is a bioactive constituent of Rhizoma anemarrhenae. Rhizoma anemarrhenae is reprted to have anti-pathogenic microorganism, hypoglycemic effects, anti-inflammatory, antipyretic effects and anti-platelet aggregation^[1].
