Dihomo-γ-linolenic acid
Dihomo-γ-linolenic acid (DGLA, all-cis-8,11,14-Eicosatrienoic acid) is a 20-carbon ω-6 polyunsaturated fatty acid (PUFA) derived in vivo from linolenic acid. It exhibits antitumor, anti-inflammatory, and antiproliferative effects, making it a promising candidate for the prevention and treatment of hyperplasia and proliferative diseases, especially for cancers.
