ω-Agatoxin TK
ω-Agatoxin TK is a kind of toxin found in the venom of the funnel web spider. It is a selective and potent blocker of CaV2.1 P-type and Q-type calcium channels. It is selective for P/Q-type Ca2+ channel, but shows little or no activity at N-type, or T-type calcium channels. So it is used to differentiate the types of calcium channel active during various physiological processes.
