Gadoxetate Disodium is a contrast agent in magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) of the hepatobiliary system, which accumulates in normal, functioning hepatocytes. Gadoxetate Disodium is used to evaluate focal liver lesions, such as hepatocellular carcinoma or liver metastasis on T1-weighted imaging.
