Vonafexor (EYP001) is an orally active, non-steroidal and selective FXR agonist. Vonafexor shows significant HBsAg reduction when combined with Peg-IFNα. Vonafexor can be used for anti-HBV research[2].In Vitro:Vonafexor (EYP001) inhibits the HBV replication cycle in HepaRG cells resulting in significant reductions in HBV DNA, HBsAg and HBeAg secretion, with additive effects when combined with Entecavir (HY-13623) or Tenofovir (HY-13910).
