Daunorubicin
Daunorubicin is an anthracycline antibiotic and a cell cycle–nonspecific chemotherapeutic agent that functions by inhibiting topoisomerase II and intercalating into DNA. It is primarily indicated for the treatment of acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) and acute myelogenous leukemia (AML).
