(S)-2-Allylglycine
(S)-2-Allylglycine (L-Allylglycine) is a potent inhibitor of glutamic acid decarboxylase (GAD), the key enzyme in GABA biosynthesis, causing GABA depletion, seizures, and neuronal damage. It is used in research on treatment-resistant seizures in epilepsy.
