PAR-4 Agonist Peptide, amide (PAR-4-AP, AY-NH2) is a agonist of proteinase-activated receptor-4 (PAR-4) that provides antinociceptive effects in stress- and inflammation-induced hyperalgesia. It reduces visceral pain by activating PAR-4 receptors on colonic nerve terminals.
