Pirfenidone
Pirfenidone is a synthetic pyridone drug. It is an antifibrotic agent with anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties that is used to treat idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF), which is a chronic, progressive form of interstitial pneumonia.
