(±)-Nipecotic acid
(±)-Nipecotic acid is a nonselective GAT inhibitor that also induces GABA release through a process termed ‘heteroexchange. IC50 = 8, 38, 106 and 2370 μM for hGAT-1, rGAT-2, hGAT-3 and hBGT-1 respectively.
