L-DON
L-DON is a glutamine antagonist produced naturally by Streptomyces; it inhibits several glutamine-dependent enzyme pathways as well as acts as an inhibitor of the mitochondrial enzyme, glutaminase (GLS), the primary producer of neuronal glutamate.
