D-erythro-Sphingosine is a potent activator of p32-kinase with an EC50 of 8 μM, and also a PP2A activator. It’s a potent, cell-permeable, reversible, and selective inhibitor of protein kinase C (PKC; IC50 = 2.8 µM) and insulin receptor tyrosine kinase.
